I want to know what everyone’s favorite animal from Taiwan is. Are there animals that you love that aren’t included in the game. I wish I could have included more because Taiwan has so many cool animals.
There are 12 animals in Formosa Formosa. 6 are in the base game and 6 are in the promo pack that you can get if you buy from me at conventions or order directly from me. Right now the only way to get the game is to contact me directly but I hope to get things setup for online ordering in the future.
Vote for each of the first round matchups. Next week we will see how these animals do against the Formosan Bear, Yellow-Throated Marten, Green Sea Turtle and the 100 Pacer Snake.

I had totally overlooked the connection that Taiwan has with these seemingly ordinary dogs. I fear that the Barking Deer is up against a very underrated opponent.

The battle of the birds. I chose against my conventional wisdom to put the Spoonbill in the base game and the pheasant in the promo pack. The pheasant is one of the symbols of Taiwan and is on the 1000 TWD note. I thought the comeback story of the Spoonbill needed to be more widely known.
